For a little snippet on her that I saw in either Newsweek or Time, which we subscribed to at that time. She said that she voted the way she did on the Florida recount because she couldn't stand the idea of a Democrat as president. I wish I could find that again. I even went through issues in the library once and didn't find it. I know I saw it, though, and I can even visualize the page it was on.

I'm pretty sure it was at the time of her retirement, which should have narrowed it down enough, but I just couldn't find it.

and I remember she said she wanted to retire and didn't want Gore to appoint her successor. This was all said in an interview after she left the bench.

I hope she and Henry are enjoying each other's company now.
