I refuse to go to Tom Thumb, Chick Fil-crap and Chase bank...
Ask me anything! LOL
Why would you shop at Walmart knowing full well they are one of the largest contributers to the GOP? I take it you don't care how your money gets spent...

He is, of course, under no obligation to answer the question but, as a response to the OP, it was begging to be asked.

(51,076 posts)Its walmart or drive for miles for me and once I get there with the baggage of pollution I bring with me, btw I find the same products as I find in 'that' store. Oh and yes when walmart came to my area they were a pretty good american company, Sam was still alive and their big sign said products here are made in America. If todays walmart would have come to our area as they are today they'd never have made it either. Sorry to burst your bubble

(1,206 posts)Chances are you own a piece of Walmart. It may make you feel good to rail against a specific entity like Walmart, but they, their suppliers, their vendors are too intricate a part of our economy.
Sometimes I can't figure out if the real desire is to see Walmart completely out of business. The fact is there are many poor people who are served by low-cost retailers like them, Aldi's, Big Lots, etc.

(4,876 posts)than anywhere else. Find me a place besides WM that sells insulin for $24 a month and I'll be happy to buy it there.
I get my wifes medications from 3 different places just so we can afford it. Must be nice to be rich enough not to have to worry about $700 a year, but I personally am not.
I am so fucking tired of all these self righteous rants about where people shop. Unless you are living totally 100% off the grid, then somewhere down the line you are using goods or services that support the GOP so get over yourself.
