and I are going!!! We don't have tickets to get in anything, but we don't care. We're fired up and ready to go!!! Train from Charlotte and hotel booked.

6. I am looking forward to it, but

to be honest, I don't really understand the point of second inaugurations. Obviously, the president has to be sworn in again, but I don't see why it's such a big event the second time around, when there is no change in power going on.

I went in 2009 and it was amazing but I probably won't go again. I no longer live in the DC area, and I have had medical issues that would make it tough. But I am looking forward to watching the president's speech, which I will probably be able to hear better on TV than I could at the event in 2009.
