there will be some ambiguity if it was about being a dumb bub

No one kills their family because of an election loss. If it happens, it happens because of mental illness.

I think your op is in truly awful taste on a number of levels.

They now regret their votes after learning more about Rmoney, but glad Obama won anyway.

..mental illness "triggered" by some slight (real or imagined). Politics isn't usually the motive -it's mostly marital/custody/money problems.
