Here's my deal. You make food you like for your Feast, I will for mine. OK?

No guilt for buying one commercially raised bird a year. Most of my Feast I have grown, harvested, cooked. The turkey though did come from a factory farm for which I give thanks as yes, it is comfort food for me. It reminds me of my happy childhood, of the happy young and older adult Feasts with friends and family. It gives me comfort this one time of the year.

For you? Do what makes you happy. I hope you have a fine Feast, enjoy your friends and family without guilt or sorrow. Our time is short and having one day, one feast, with leftovers, that gives us comfort? IMO, that is a good thing.

Do what you can do to help the world be a better place, including taking care of yourself.

Happy Harvest Festival to all.

That is my deal.

The rest of my family and friends will be having regular turkey! They will be served side by side.

I made a broccoli salad, mashed pots and baked squash! There is stuffing, pies and cranberry as well.

I am a vegetarian and would never dream of judging anyone for what they are eating! Hell, most of my family and friends give ME crap about my Tofurky!

No issues here! I am getting ready to chow down! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
