Romneys comments followed a day of emails fired off by his campaign attacking Gingrichs positions of free enterprise and a morning event where he attacked Gingrich unprompted and at length in front of a crowd of about 300 people under a warm sun at Wofford College in Spartanburg.
I was disappointed over the last couple of weeks to see one of my opponents attacking free enterprise, just like the president was, Romney said. Thats not the role of the Republican Party, that makes us sad.
