1. Have had it at least twice.

I am around kids all the time. I have no idea how many times I have had it.

2. I had it once

But it's taken a year to get back to feeling like I did before. Long covid, I guess. Little to no energy. Sleeping or tired most of the time. Headaches. I had vertigo once and that was scary, hadn't have that happen to me before but that was early. Feeling more normal though.

5. Twice. Both times my recovery has gone well.

2020 pre-vaccine almost killed me permanent heart and lung damage plus a host of other issues including brain fog.

2022- Omicron, little more than a bad cold.

2023- whatever was going around. Caught in UK vacation in the Tube. Took paxlovid. Was a worse version than 2022. Took months to get back to my new normal.

I have had full vaccine and 2 boosters. Basically only saved me from hospital on x2 and x3

7. Never. I was PCR tested 2x weekly for almost 2 years and

after we stopped doing routine PCR screening, I've tested every single time I've had any stuffy nose, aches, GI, anything.

Never had it.

Thankfully, never had it. Nobody in my family has had it except my mom and it killed her back in pre-vaccine days. Many of my friends and neighbors have had it, some two and three times.

9. Both times were mild, and I recovered from the initial illness quickly.

I was positive for 14 days the first time - but minimal symptoms (no fever, scratchy throat for a couple of days, mild cough for about a week). I was positive for no more than 41 hours the second time, and symptom-free in about the same time (my throat felt funny, I had a fever for a few hours). I took Paxlovid the second time - and had (likely) rebound COVID for about a week (much worse than the initial bout. (I tested negative - but the timing was right for a rebound.)

But I got long COVID aftter the first (pancreatitis, gall bladder crud, immune deficiencies, and gut dysbiosis). It took about 15 months for most symptoms to resolve. I'm still catching far more respiratory illnesses than usual - so immune deficiencies may still be around (they won't test again unless they need to treat symptoms - like frequent and lengthy respiratory illnesses.) Gut dysbiosis is manageable, but not completely gone at 20 months.

So far, no new symptoms of Long COVID after the second bout in December - but gut dysbiosis may be a bit worse. And I'm just at the point where the long-COVID symptoms hit after the first round. I.e. the jury is still out.

Each time less intense than the last. Most recently tested positive was fine the next day. Less debilitating than your average cold... and didn't even lose taste or have phantosmia as I had following all the others.

When the vaccine came out it was specific to elderly, health issues such as the heart. Well, that qualified me, only problem is, as soon a new batch was available in our area, the reservations booked up quickly.

Then I had a thought, a community 40 minutes away was a GOP stronghold. I looked over there, sure enough, plenty availability and booked an appointment. Since then, get them regularly along with my flu shot. I wasn't always keeping up with my flu shots in the past, but every once in a great while, it took me down hard. The last two times prior to Covid, I was out of work for a week. In one case, I was deaf in one ear for a week after I recovered. That's when I realized, I can't mess around anymore.

14. thank you for the responses , I had it once (at least) and was very mild, voice sounded higher pitched

and a runny nose, resolved quickly after paxlovid
