I was always embarrassed

receiving hearts, especially not knowing who was so kind and generous. I was a lurker here for a long time before ever commenting. As a Canadian, I felt my comments would not be well received (and there have been a few that did not receive them well) but after Trump won the election, I felt it was as much our responsibility (Canadians) as Americans to do what we could within our power to ensure truth is forefront to take him down. Since we are not able to donate to candidates, being engaged was all we had. I expected to back away from reading about US politics once he was out of office, but alas the drama and threat continued. So thank you to those who have accepted me and to those who gave me hearts this year and others, it has finally convinced me while I am here I have to donate where I am able to keep the fight going so I finally became a star member. I hope to one day soon be able to put the politics behind but I doubt I will disengage with this site as it is incredibly informative on many subjects.

Thanks for the hearts and making me realize I really need to support this site in other ways.

I did not know you are from Canada but I’ll be interested in your take on some of our issues. I have a friend from the UK who has become a citizen and a real good Democrat and when we have discussions about politics, I’m always wanting to know his views as we are on the same team but may see things differently. Quite interesting and it has broadened my perspective seeing things from a different angle. Happy Valentine’s Day and I’m glad you’re here 💘

I live 20 miles south of the Canadian border.
I love meeting Canadians!
My daughter was at McGill on 9/11.
The president of the college could not have been nicer, he sent a letter to the parents of American students.

and always had trouble getting back on, so just changed my name a little and started new accounts. And my
only activity was posting on Palmer Report, I never went on fakebook to do anything, I do believe they were
deliberately messing with Liberals. We used to chat quite a bit over there on Palmer. Nice to hear from you
again.

some writers will make your brain bleed. I enjoyed it when I first went there, was really my only outlet at that time, that I felt comfortable speaking up. This is much more to my liking. Good to talk to you again!
