(4,653 posts)and they are past that now--- (but they were deliberately low-balling their target, IMHO)
There were 19,000 plus uncommitted votes in this primary in 2020,
when there was still a spirited race between Biden and Sanders,
and 20,000 uncommitted votes against President Obama's re-election in the 2012 primary,
when he was unopposed....
So I won't begin to measure this 'uncommitted' protest vote, if and until they get beyond 20,000 'uncommitted' votes,
and how much...

(597 posts)It won't be the highwater mark until Wayne comes in. The areas reporting are Eaton (a small county), Washtenaw County (home to Ann Arbor, or the University of Michigan, which has a big uncommitted vote at 25% but no surprise with the campus being there), Oakland (that's suburban Detroit) and a couple smaller counties north of Detroit.
