Do you agree with James Carville's advice?

Last edited Thu Mar 21, 2024, 05:24 PM - Edit history (1)

He was just on CNN saying that Biden should be hitting cheato hard NOW. He emphasized that the loser is back on his heels, and now is the time to hit. He acknowledged that Biden is not a good attack dog, and suggested surrogates.

When it comes to surrogates, there are plenty to be had. I like Swalwell, and there are many others. Lets go, Dems!

is that the President has been around long enough to know the ins and outs of campaigning and maybe he knows his way works, but why not throw everything at the Dookie of Maga Loco early and often? Perhaps he thinks that early attacks fall on deaf ears and by the time they're heard, they've lost their punch. I'm just spitballing, but the whole "Come From Behind Joe" narrative makes me a little nervous. But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.

Newsom has been doing a good job of riling up the R's. He's so smart and fast on his feet verbally.

I think it's good to throw everything at tfg and his minions soon and often, especially while t is dealing with his multiple court cases. Pummel him from all directions with jabs big and small to wear his pea brain out. We know it's not hard to fluster him with insults, and pointing out his weaknesses, mistakes etc., so let him have it. Ideally he'd stroke out or have an aneurysm, we could only hope, but at very least it keeps him making more and more stupid, offensive statements that can then be used against him.

But, they’ve actually been doing that. (See the SOTU speech.)

Trump, and his criminality, is a pretty widely known quantity. There are, after all, 3 big legal proceedings currently jockeying for position to go to trial, and most of the media is covering their developments.

What is NOT getting covered well enough is the booming economy, and pocketbook issues will be at least as important to most voters as Trump is.

Carville should realize that his 1992 advice to Clinton still holds sway, “It’s the economy, stupid.”

. . . and especially when it comes to the President: The mission of everyone below the boss is to "keep the shit off the boss's shoes."

When someone needs to get canned, slapped around, snatched up and set on the right path, the task of doing this often falls to subordinates . . . let the boss be the happy guy who pins medals on people, marches at the head of the column . . . let the Chief of Staff cut people's balls off.

We all need to be taking the fight to the MAGAts.

In my little corner of rural VA, we have set up a committee of Democrats from eight counties. We are
-- writing letters to editors in our local and regional newspapers;
-- calling out the lies on Facebook pages;
-- showing the flag with Biden-Harris yard signs and bumper stickers;
-- and taking no shit from the local MAGAts when they challenge us.

Every Democrat needs to do the same . . . let PRESIDENT BIDEN be Presidential, above the fray, kiss babies . . .

"A judge has now clarified that this is basically a legal distinction without a real-world difference. He says that what the jury found Trump did was in fact rape, as commonly understood."

I think using that term "trumps" the other diabolical criminal names to give him. Business fraudster, Top secret files thief, even an Insurrectionist.

They should have ads saying, 'Do you think a rapist should be President of the US?". Or run ads in States with women MAGAts like Nancy Mace, about her supporting a rapist. I think that judges conclusions gives them cover to use that term.

At the very least I'd like to see some of these Trump humpers be uncomfortable and have to defend these kinds of ads.
