a slain cop's wake...
was an unsubtly racist publicity stunt: The cop was White and the killer is Black. Although any murder is horrific...
When did djT ever display 'sympathy' toward cops who were slain or assaulted by his Jan. 6th attackers? Or non- White victim's, such as Floyd, of White police brutality?
Hypocrisy galore.

It isn't really clear that Trump was invited, and, if so, by whom. It is clear to me that if Trump declared an interest in attending any wake or funeral, any rebuff could be met with threats and harassment by MAGA nuts. (Picture MTG menacing Parkland survivor David Hogg).

(2,823 posts)Tonight. My first thought was... he's doing a press conference at a funeral?! How rude and inappropriate, but then that's all Trump... he'll find someway to make it about himself. It was a free campaign rally as far as he's concerned. We know he couldn't care less about the slain officer. He likes police who live, after all. Disabled or dead, he really has nothing good to say about them.
