(33,400 posts)I remember this Seattle's collective grief - a huge gathering at Seattle Center, with Courtney Love calling in to address the crowd.
Even my kids were really affected -at 6 & 8. Kind of like on 9/11, we couldn't shield them from the news.

(16,876 posts)I can remember exactly where I was in class during my sophomore year of HS when I heard the news. I was an angsty teenager and gravitated to the Seattle music scene because it spoke to me, Nirvana and Cobain in particular.
