Will the NY tRump Jury be sequestered?

Fox Noise media propaganda tRump Train....they know how to harass people, be inflammatory to where the public could make the lives of a jury hell... The jury instructions say no new etc regarding trial and they will comply....but if they go home, other people will try to influence, harass and threaten them..the Fox media on-slot has already begun....

So, these noble jurors need safety and to be sequestered in my opinion...

Any word about this?

Probably not. The issue of sequestration likely would have been brought up Ocelot II Apr 19 #3

It's much more difficult to be on a sequestered jury, but I believe that magats' threats and Dumpy's violations of the gag order will make it necessary to sequester the jury to keep them safe.

during the questioning of the jury if that was going to happen, because it would have affected the jurors' decisions as to whether they could serve. If the judge decides to sequester the jury after the trial starts, some jurors might try to get excused because they hadn't made arrangements to be away from their homes and families for a couple of weeks. Then the alternates would have to step in. I'm not sure there would be enough alternates, and if they run out of alternates the whole thing has to start over.

Typically juries are told of a possible need to sequester, plans are made, and jurors who have obligations outside of court (children, invalid household member, etc) would be both questioned and allowed to drop out of contention before the jurors are decided.

It it became necessary NOW, it is quite possible that even six alternates might not be enough--triggering an automatic mistrial.
