Wouldn't that be a hoot? 
Because he had scalp reduction to treat his bald spots, and that he got the process done too fast. That means it didn't heal right and left some ugly scarring.
Underneath that thing on his head, it probably looks almost like a Klingon skull. Maybe not as extreme with the buckled skin, but close:
“There’s enough hair left. Believe me.”
