(16,867 posts)I hope I look that good when I'm that age. I already don't look that good, so I don't have much hope of that happening!

(15,569 posts)She always seems like such a down to earth, fun person to know. We were all so fortunate to have that family in our White House. Bo too!

(2,037 posts)Did a Secret Service agent drive her? Why the St. Louis area? They don't live somewhere near there, do they? I thought they were still living in the Washington D.C. area. If some of these questions are answered in the video, I haven't watched it yet; I'll have to watch it some time later tonight.
I remember watching a documentary film about Jimmy Carter some years back. Much of the film consisted of Carter in the back seat of a limousine answering questions and talking to an unseen cameraman/interviewer while the limousine sped through an urban cityscape somewhere in the U.S. I had one question constantly in mind while I was watching that film, and if I had ever had an opportunity to ask Jimmy Carter a question, this is the question I would have asked him:
"Mr. President, do you EVER have to actually STOP for a red light or a stop sign?"

(23,994 posts)Sometimes I forget I can smile, but that one got me smiling. Not a sarcastic or wry or haha smile, just a happy smile. I don't really care how staged or genuine it was, I'm just glad it exists and I saw it.
