Trump likes em young, blonde and Ivanka-ish. That would surely help her get the VP pick.

Yes she has had a lot of plastic surgery and enhancements.

All to curry favor with Trump.

She uses to look like a normal, professional, serious woman.

Now she doesn't.

With Trump appearing to break down physically as the trial progresses, Noem and the othe VP wannabe’s see a short cut to the White House opening up. Expect Noem and the others to go even Trumpier to get the nod.

I can see two camps forming. Those of the lay-low and hope for a brokered convention. (Haley) Those who, as you said, are hoping to glide in by default. (Noem, Lake)

As ishy as that sounds. Is not an obstacle for the chronically debouching opportunists.

Acting and looking like a Trump wife, daughter and daughters in law.

This involves a great deal of plastic surgery, lots of big hair and boobs.
And tons of make up.
Acting obedient and subservient.

Yes only a craven opportunist would stoop to this level.

Looking closely, there’s an effort to achieve a “type” among the contestants. Which I find to be incredibly creepy.

This is all based on my personal observations of what’s going on, I realize.

You don't have to look that closely.

And yes it is creepy.

without hypocrisy, the implications of abortion as murder of the innocent...

Conservatives can't get their heads around the opposing view that that babies produced by rape are rapists' time-bombs on the lives of the raped.

For tempting men. Fundies always blame women (regardless of age and family relationship) for their own abuse.

Yet, I also suspect that works out in their minds better for other people's daughters, and interns, than their own.

He's also trying to tamp down the abortion issue.

I think he will pick a semi credible Pence type. Not sure who fits the bill though. I think it will be someone not currently holding office.

...particularly those in the most conservative churches. Trump must be in a quiet panic about this issue, because he keeps bringing it up, and for a very practical reason which he states publicly: this could cost him the election. There is no way Trump or the RNC can spin this to make it look like anything other than an untenable, extremist position--notwithstanding Raymond Arroyo's nightly attempts on EWTN to do just that.

Views like this would have seemed unthinkable in the mainstream just a few years ago, and we now have Kristi Noem and others going on the "Sunday Talking About Stuff" shows to say it out loud in front of the whole nation.
