to go home, or will still be inside the courthouse if they're on a lunch break. And they'd have been instructed by the judge not to watch any news coverage about the trial.

No one here cited a legitimate reason. Strange.

Don't mind using a little authoritarianism to get there...

Three's a famous quote to that extent... but I just can't recall it.

Something about not allowing your own hatred turn you into what you rail against.

Last clip I saw, was him standing in a court hallway behind a barrier, shouting his comments to the press, because he didn’t have a pool mic to speak into.

Trump isn’t being “given a mic and camera”, those belong to the press, who are granted access to the court lobby, or wherever it is that Trump is speaking from.

Clicks mean money. Money is why they will always put many cameras and microphones on him. It brings money.

Remove the money and you remove the desire to put a camera in front of the orange gibbon.

Without an audio recording Trump's handlers - a job I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy - could simply say "no, he didn't REALLY say Judge Merchan should be drowned in a septic tank" and lots of people would believe Trump could never be so insane.

WITH such a recording? They're left with "no, he didn't really mean a septic tank, he'd be perfectly fine with the Hudson or the East River."
