(15,693 posts)Last clip I saw, was him standing in a court hallway behind a barrier, shouting his comments to the press, because he didnt have a pool mic to speak into.
Trump isnt being given a mic and camera, those belong to the press, who are granted access to the court lobby, or wherever it is that Trump is speaking from.

(50,572 posts)Without an audio recording Trump's handlers - a job I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy - could simply say "no, he didn't REALLY say Judge Merchan should be drowned in a septic tank" and lots of people would believe Trump could never be so insane.
WITH such a recording? They're left with "no, he didn't really mean a septic tank, he'd be perfectly fine with the Hudson or the East River."
