Another loser couldn't take "no" for an answer.

The erstwhile lovers

Oh look! Another murder/suicide by a man who loooooooooooooovvvvvvvvvveed her so much he loved her to death.
19th Century: same shit, different century.

Murder victim.
Alice C. Caro had attended a dance with Herbert F. Seeley on a January evening in 1898. After both failed to return home from the dance the following morning Miss Caro's alarmed family began to search the country side. Tied up near to a wooden bridge was the horse and buggy that the couple had taken to the dance the previous night and just down a short ravine the bodies of the couple were found. Twenty-three year old Alice was discovered to have been shot through the breast and nearby lay the lifeless body of twenty-five year old Herbert, whom it was discovered had a bullet wound to his temple. Apparently after leaving the dance the couple had quarreled at which time young Mr. Seeley produced a pistol and shot Alice Caro. He then turned the weapon on himself thus ending his own life. Friends of Alice stated that she had rejected Seeley's proposals of marriage which had apparently enraged Seeley and was the cause of the deaths. The tiny rural farming community located in Northwest Florida was greatly shaken by the murder-suicide of two of its young people. The erstwhile lovers were buried in their respective family plots in the same cemetery (St. John's Catholic Cemetery).

I've been tracing my roots. This isn't one of them. Just tripped over it while clicking around. Had to share. And this is just the "run of the mill" stuff. You should see my family tree. Needs pruning. I tried to return some. No takers. I'm cracking wise but some of that crap shocked the speech outta me. Yeah, huh. Imagine that. I lost my voice. Scared hell out of everyone. LOL

Have a great (insert time of day) wherever you are. Please stay safe, sane, and sound.
