The people are so numb, nothing shocks them anymore, not even the Supreme Court.

Everything is accepted as normal, if it comes from Trump or his lawyers. Murder? Violent coup? Stealing nuclear secrets? Nothing matters anymore. They are dead and incapable of thinking.

They can ignore the truth but they cannot ignore the consequences of the truth.

We will lose all faith in our government and elected leaders.

Actually, as I think about it - it won’t be so much neighbor against neighbor (which that will also be true); but it will be the people against the government in various forms. We will have lost faith in the government - and the only positive is that - everyone will be invited to the party.

The left will lead the revolt against the government, once they see that it is too corrupt to save.

Once again it will be up to us to save our democracy. We will need to overwhelm them at the ballot box because this isn’t going to be a fair election.

They can ignore the truth, but they cannot ignore the consequences of the truth. Who is, they?

Sorry, not getting you. Media? Bootlickers? No one is in the streets protesting here in the US, except Gaza. No one's marching against the brutal assault against US women. No one's marching against the continued coup trump is waging against US government. 99.9% of folks on the street corner could give a reasonable explanation of what's happening in our country. Worse, they don't really give one shit to educate themselves. They're not numb, they don't give one fuck.

It hasn't for decades now.

Doing the same thing that doesn't work, over and over, is the definition of insanity.

But, still wouldn't make change. Our system is way past crimes shown in broad daylight, and folks are questioniong what they saw. We're in some deep shit.
