TMZ highlighted some of the beliefs that are allegedly espoused by Hudson beliefs that were purportedly outlined in his FC video series:
Why he believes Jay-Z is a Freemason with ties to the devil
How Obamas pro-gay agenda has similarities to Hitler
How the NYC gas crisis can lead to cannibalism
TheBlaze asked Hudson about these claims. As for Jay-Z, the faith leader attempted to frame his views about entertainment and its dangers in a more general sense. He shared portions of the Bible, including Revelation 14:8 and Jeremiah 7, to note that he was merely showcasing the overarching idea that the devil uses entertainment to distract people.
What I was presenting is that this system of deception has been constructed by the devil, he told TheBlaze. Hes putting out into our society, whether it be via Hollywood, via music hes putting out into our atmosphere things that are very destructive to humanity that basically cripples our ability to reflect the image of God.
When it came to discussing the comparison he allegedly made between Obama and Hitler, Hudson was clear that he was not directly tying the figures together.

(30,777 posts)These movie and t.v. stars are easily misled. We need to use great care when it comes to holding them up as role models.

(32,097 posts)This Jones kid got roped into this particular cult. He may be the only entertainer who got sucked into this one, unless it's the same one to which Kirk Cameron belongs. But, a whole bunch of others belong to the Cult...errr....Church of Scientology. It's just as bad. And, there are likely others who follow additional whackos, as well.

And while it's true that LA has its share, and then some, of $cientologists, most people in the business, if they belong to any faith, belong to perfectly normal, mundane ones.
I have to say, I've lived in LA long enough now that, without ever desiring to, I have managed to have a few moderately/quite successful friends in the industry. All of them are perfectly regular people, so the broad-brush comments about people in the entertainment industry kinda rub me the wrong way, especially when religious fanaticism here is significantly less than it is in much of the country.

(75,480 posts)the Seventh Day Adventists? If so, I'm getting bad feelings for Angus.
I agree with what you say about the bad rap people in the entertainment industry get. I have known a few. Mostly they are the hard working people behind the scenes, but I also have counted some high profile "stars" among my friends and acquaintances.
