Dallas Cowboys fans petition Obama to exile 'dictator' Jerry Jones

Fans of the Dallas Cowboys are fed up. And they want President Barack Obama to do something about it -- namely, oust Jerry Jones as "dictator" of "America's Team."

A petition filed on the White House' web site, We the People, is categorized under "Human Rights." The petition reads:

"We, the Citizens of the Great State of Texas, and Dallas Cowboys fans worldwide, have been oppressed by an over controlling, delusional, oppressive dictator for way too long. Request the Executive Branch's immediate assistance in removal of owner and GM, Jerry Jones. His incompetence and ego have not only been an extreme disappointment for way too long, but moreover, it has caused extreme mental and emotional duress."

The White House requires petitions to receive 25,000 signatures within 30 days to illicit an official response. At press time, the petition filed Nov. 23, 2012 had received close to 3,000 signatures.

Jones, the team's owner, has frustrated fans with his refusal to step down as General Manager, despite a losing record and near weekly disappointments under failing head, Jason Garrett -- who Jones insists he has no intention of firing.

how people chose and pick what they want the president and government get mixed into. I for one don't give a damn what any billionaire teams do. They already suck the blood out of the communities with tax breaks they get.

he would have fired Jerry Jones the general manager about ten years ago.

I got news for ya Jer, Jimmy Johnson built that dominant Cowboy team of the 1990s, not you or anyone else. It was JIMMY JOHNSON and Jimmy alone that made that team. All you had to do was write the fking checks. Jimmy picked all the players and the assistant coaches.

And don't say a word to me about the Super Bowl you won with Barry Switzer. A trained ape could have been head coach of that team given the talent and assistant coaches on the staff and at least made it as far as the Super Bowl. All Switzer was doing was driving the Ferrari he inherited from Jimmy Johnson.

just a sign of how stupid many Americans can get, living in luxury bubbles, and this is what they find to be important. Big media team sports are so ridiculous.
