(20,600 posts)and let's mind our own damn business for a while. Of course, abandoning the drone program would be included in that. (It is morally bankrupt, DUH) I have had it up to here how we always have to control the whole world. Second, cut the military budget in half, and use the money to prop up and expand social safety net programs, that would be a part of it as well. I got other priorities as well, like nationalized health care and the environment, but stopping the killing and warring would be the first priority.

If they had even a CLUE what it means to be poor in this country...
Even considering that they already have homes, working appliances and the educational background that many poor folks do not - it would transform how our government educates, feeds, shelters, and delivers healthcare for our most vulnerable.
