Rachel Maddow going over how the "retainer fee" came about.

It appears that Weisselberg and Trump cooked up the monthly payment instead of total reimbursement. It was before presenting it to Cohen.

They have special Rachel segment with four others. Lawrence, Katie, Nicole, and Chris.

It’s a stiff-a-rama. Because when you’re famous they’ll let you do it, right?

He got the $130k, plus enough to pay taxes, plus a bonus.

After that, he wasn't being directly paid to be tsf's personal atty, but he said he could get consulting fees from others seeking access (he used other words but that's what he meant).

So he wasn't complaining he wasn't being paid. That wasn't his issue.

Getting thrown under the tank and ending up in prison was his issue.

And he was identified as Trump's personal attorney at the time. In effect Cohen wasn't receiving a salary during those twelve months?
