He thinks they'll either stay home or write in a protest vote because they know we don't want to live in that world.
I certainly hope his words reach magat ears.

(4,558 posts)if they do not vote for him this November. True MAGA would move heaven and earth to cast a ballot for him always. Not doing so in November after having done so for him in '16 and '20 may mean they're on the road to recovery.

(53,887 posts)at some point they were going to have to switch horses anyway, even if donnie becomes a dictator the reins would transfer to someone else in a few years.
if all they do it give up on donnie and switch to whoever the next cult leader is, that's no recovery.

(4,558 posts)or became incapacitated, then I would agree. But, to walk away with him still the party's nominee and a viable candidate? At that point you get some credit in my book because that tells me you made a decision based on an alternative outcome, not because of a necessity. Regardless of motive, here's hoping enough of them do so.
