1. You have to wonder what the Republican options are.

Each of these candidates have distinct fatal flaws that will turn off whole segments of the voting public.

Mitt - the vulture capitalist/jobs cremator
Rick - the faux moralist and anti-sex candidate
Ron - the closet racist
Newt - the serial wife abuser and political ethics debaser

It would be funny if 6 months from now, now of these candidates will be acceptable to as the Republican nominee.

6. You Nailed Each Of These Guys With Your Descriptions Of Them - Unfortunately.....

each has a fan base which appeals to certain elements of Repug Americans. They personify the worst in our society and as a group they actually define Repugs and what they stand for and why certain Americans align themselves with the Repug party.

You have those that are wealthy. The upper echelon of our society that don't want their fortunes touched and will do anything for money.

You have those that hate the LGBT's and have serious sexual hangups that they can't deal with - so they take things to the extreme in order to justify their own hangups.

You have those that are so totally racist that if the KKK were still out in the open they would be wearing white hoods and burning crosses on peoples lawns. These are the same ones that would hate Obama even if he cured cancer or gave them each $1 million dollars.

And you have those that don't respect women and want to keep them subservient and in the home where they are only good for making babies, serving their masters and satisfying their masters sexual desires.

Couple these so-called Repug attributes with the holier than thou orations of those bible scripture quoting Repugs that find Jesus (born-agains) to cover up their weaknesses along with those that are so gullible that they believe and repeat any lies that they hear like they are authorities on basically anything even slightly political that they can comment on - you basically have the definition of the Repug party.

Put all these people together and they become a force to be reckoned with and what Obama will be up against in the General Election run-up.

Think about those people you know that purport themselves to be Repugs. You will see at least one of these attributes in their character. When you put this all together - it really is a sad commentary on our society.

7. Sweet Jeebus - a republican super-candidate that incorporates the worst traits of each candiidate.

That's what nightmares are made of.

I do agree, there are core supporters that are attracted to each of these candidates...but I also think that each candidate will repel segments of the base. For instance, those attracted to Rick Santorum's pious BS and interest in outlawing pleasurable sex will most likely be turned off by Gingrich's bio. The rich who can relate to Romney, would find Santorum deplorable. Who knows where Ron Paul's supporters would go if he gets pushed out. Romney's support is clearly crumbling and Newt is on the rise again....but Newt has so many flaws, I doubt that he makes it out of the primary season as a viable candidate. If I'm a republican operative, I'm getting more depressed by the day as the candidates attack each other with gusto...essentially doing the Democrats work for them.

shit.

He's truly just one of the worst people on Earth - I mean, I cannot even imagine having the imperative push inside my brain to constantly, in every waking hour, choose the thing to say or the course of action that will allow me to reach maximum prickishness.

But he really took the cake with his comments on the pipeline. Yes, you fucking asshole, it is totally inappropriate for the government to take the time to actually consider things like, hmm, maybe this is going to have a crushing effect on the impacted environment.

If there were any celestial justice, this ass would be sentenced to live out the rest of his life drinking and bathing from and in an unfunded superfund site. Prick.

is a Democrat, Cuomo.
Did you mean the NJ Governor, Christy?
I don't think his style will sell well outside of NJ.
