What Could The Programming At The Repug Nat'l Convention Possibly Be?......

I was thinking about the upcoming Repug National Convention and was wondering what will they be talking about and televising during their time in the spotlight?

Will it just be a praise fest about TCF? Will we find out the Repugs future platform? Will it just repeat all the lies and falsehoods they and TCF have been spewing? Will they tell us that they will end democracy and TCF will become our forever president? Will they detail Project 2025? Will they tell us who TCF will unleash his retribution on? Will we have to listen to all the indicted members of this cult? Will they play clips of the Jan 6 insurrection and tell us that these people were just tourists at the Capitol?

Will this convention be televised on all networks or just televised on Fox?

Will this convention be fact checked as it happens?

I just can't even conceive of what they will be saying or doing at this convention that will attempt to portray this Party and their nominee as being good for this country.

What do you think will happen at this convention?

It will alternate between one part "crooked" and two parts Godly Trump to destabilize minds, separate them from any sense of logic, and cause them to act on emotional appeal. This because dismantling the government, stealing benefits and life equity, and giving it all to billionaires is not a popular sale.

3. Anyone notice that all we ever talk about on DU these days

is Trump and the GOP. Seldom anything about Democrats or Biden.

The whole political atmosphere these days is about grievance. I don't mean just on DU but on the national news, in my case at family gatherings when together with family members that agree with me. The only thing else seems to be the weather and Climate Change.

IMO, it is really rather sad - no wonder most people I talk to think Trump will win - he dominates the media.

I have a little game I play as I turn to a news channel like MSNBC.

How long after the channel comes on - is Tr**p's name mentioned.

It's usually within seconds - we get his named mentioned.

See for yourself. Try this experiment and see what you come up with.

He dominates these cable news channels.

Ever since he came on to the political scene - down the golden escalator - I've been saying the thing that will drive TCF up a wall - is if we just ignore him.

Unfortunately - that never happened or never will. Those same cable news stations - only devote a fraction of their programs - talking about Biden and the Dems. Many times - it's unfavorable or questionable coverage.

As such - that's why I made this OP - because I really can't believe that the Repugs and TCF have a good story to garner votes and sway people's opinions at the RNC in Milwaukee.

What could they possibly say - that will make them and TCF appealing to vote for in Nov?

They'll have their base - but I just can't see them telling a convincing story that could put them in the winning column.

I will never understand how this morally bankrupt cretin has such a hold on the majority of the GOP. The low information MAGA cult I can understand as they like authoritarian leadership, but there are educated, experienced people among the GOP who give him their all and it just baffles me.
