Certainly, these people think he will actually stand a chance in the general election, simply by being "Not Obama." They really and truly believe it. Considering the success they have had ramming their crazy agenda down our throats for the last 3 decades, it understandable why.

On the other hand, the real power brokers in the GOTP recognize that come Election Day in November, odds are that Obama will mop the Nation's floor with this hypocritical, lying, sleazy scumball.
