3. I hope it doesn't turn into one. But what I said in the OP is simply the gist

of what I, personally, have gathered from the recent threads I've read on that subject - and I think I've read most of them. Plain and simple, don't harm or abuse people - and it's not even gender-specific necessarily. But the harder part, I guess, is trying to prevent other people from doing harm. Often impossible, sad to say.

Don't hurt anyone and step in when you see it happening. There's nothing controversial about it. Women's rights, gay rights, racial equality - they're all human rights, and when we insult and treat one group as the enemy, we all lose. It's very, VERY simple.
