People don't even talk about the debate anymore... it's long in the past.

They don't even talk about Joe anymore after his presser at the NATO summit.

The media has moved on to the shooting and JD Vance and the idiots at the RNC.

Meanwhile Joe's polling numbers never dropped that much, and now they are climbing again.

If, after the election, say a year from now, if Joe is mentally not keeping it together, I think he will do whatever is right for the party and the nation. Right now, we are all back on board to Riden with Biden train. We now need to focus on beating the snot out of Vance / Trump and the rest of the MAGAts.

Schiff will get onboard the train again shortly.

should not publicly air his wish to change candidates midstream because it is divisive, he is a Dem who has served the party and country. He handled the impeachment hearings well.

So, since this is DU, and Schiff is a Dem, I believe that we should not be trash talking him. Disagree, yes. But without trashing him.

… (could happen — I got invited to a fundraiser last year, but caught Covid and had to stay away) there are a few things I’d like to say. First and foremost, thank him for working to save the federal government and democracy itself from Trump. And if there’s a chance I may ask respectfully why he did whatever he did to make y’all so mad.

Also, I plan to vote for Biden/Harris. Nothing has changed in my plans.

Things are in a bad state in the Democratic Party.

Тяцмр can very easily be elected again and democracy is hanging by a thread. Saved would indicate the threat is over.

It is not.

Especially prominent Democrats. We do not need a divided party at this stage of the election. Haven't we learned from the Hillary/ Bernie fiasco? Do I want Schiff to lose? Definitely not. I'd still vote for him if I could. However, I will not look at him the same. He has lost my respect. I do not live in California anymore but I have family there and they are quite troubled by the reports of his divisive efforts (some voted for him in the primary).

Even though I don't trust the NYT completely. I am sure Schiff has seen what's been reported and I've yet to read of his denial.
