Earl G. https://www.democraticunderground.com/100219193849Rich Crypto Boys are all in trying to run President Biden from office. Russia, Rupert Murdoch and his
WSJ, dirty polls, Manafort, and other bad actors are running a very orchestrated misinformation operation in order to get Biden out because he is getting the job done. Period. Joe Bs age and mental acuity are
just a fig leaf to cover their skull duggery.

(7,879 posts)For anyone who wants to understand what is going on. I think few in the media do or want to, unless it's part of their insulated little groupthink. It certainly for me wove together the threads and made sense of our current situation. We need to keep spreading it out there and bringing it up here again and again.

(281 posts)Patootie about truth. They have outrageous sums of money and still no investigative journalists. They are talking heads who do the masters bidding. Every now and then they throw you a bone and people act like its the second coming. They have shown you who they are again and again, why wont you believe them.

(1,027 posts)I just checked on another browser where I wasn't logged in to Threads, and you CAN do searches without having an account. I'd actually highly recommend getting an account there though. The vast majority there are really strong Biden supporters and they go after the people who are going after Joe, including Adam Schiff, etc. I never knew what "ratioing" meant until I started hanging out there. It actually is nice seeing how many people support and defend Joe over there. Makes me feel like there is hope.

@stevebenen https://democraticunderground.com/100219193849 . Get off the #BullyBidenOffTheBallot campaign and start finding out what is *really* behind it, then report on it. THAT is a story.

Like Earl's piece demonstrated - Crypto and big tech buying off and misleading Dems in a power grab!

(2,708 posts)getting popular. But what intelligent, above-board politician would support what is now basically "imaginary" money? A financial system that can be hacked, spammed and sold to vulnerable, unsuspecting citizens? Too bad for Bernie Madoff that he missed out on this gambit.
--From the Department of Insurance, Securities, and Banking:
Cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin and Ethereum, are different from stocks and real money. Crypto is not regulated like stocks or insured like real money in banks. Cryptos high risks can offer big rewards or huge losses.
In a recent Pew Research Center survey, 24 percent of Asian adults and 21 percent of Black or Hispanic adults say they have invested in or used a cryptocurrency, compared with just 14 percent of White adults. Overall, data shows 17 percent of US adults fall into one of these categories.
Black investors are also more likely than white investors to believe investments in cryptocurrency are both safe33% vs. 18%and regulated by the government30% vs. 14% (Ariel-Schwab Black Investor Survey).
Crypto targets young minority investors through social media under the guise of democratize finance that removes barriers of invasive credit checks or income requirements promising high returns to build wealth (CNN).

(13,339 posts)I mean, a human created the algorithm or whatever creates the "coins" so why couldn't a human hack it at some point?
It CAN be an investment but its a gamble.
I think the people claiming crypto will replace what I call "real money" are (at this point) fools. Yes, our dollars lose value but its lost slowly. If you sold a home for 20 Bitcoin at the start of June by the end of June you wouldve lost 200,000. UNLESS you immediately traded in those bitcoins for dollars.

(12,076 posts)They are afraid of Biden/Harris and will stop at nothing to defeat them. We cannot be fooled.
We knew misinformation and disinformation would be at epic levels this election cycle. And sadly, as were seeing, some people can be bought, as well.
Democrats must continue to stay strong in support of our president. He has done and will continue to do a transformational job as our president, moving our country into the stronger and more prefect union we all dream of.
