This morning when I woke up, I discovered through the night Joe had been on my mind. Frankly, I greatly admire the man for what hes done and who he is. This is the first time in my life Ive ever felt this way about a president, or any politician for that matter.
In my opinion, Bidens accomplishments in office will historically prove he is one of the greatest presidents weve ever had.
Even though he is the type of person who is so devoted to our country, having honorably served for decades, and would be willing to die with his boots on, I dont want him to.
I think he needs to resign from his job to save his own life.
Its clear Biden is a tough, stubborn Irishman who produces results and is clear-eyed about his responsibilities. Presidents, in one fashion or another, continue their contribution to us after they leave office. We need him around alive and he has nothing more to prove.
If memory serves, this is his second go with COVID. Hes very fortunate to still be alive. Paxolovid or not, COVID kills and disables.
Give VP Harris a quick opportunity to set things in place, then hand her the keys. Shell be a great president, well be in good hands.
I dont care how this looks, but I want him to pardon Hunter on his way out the door.
I surprised myself with my turnaround. But it feels right. Time to go Joe; rest, relax and reflect the remainder of your days. Youve more than earned it.

(3,184 posts)A few reasons
1. It would pull Kamala off the campaign trail.
2. She would need a VP now, which would never be approved by House.
3 Speaker Johnson would be next in line for Pres.
Therefore, I'm believing Joe knows this too.
I'll trust and pray for Joe.

It would continue to fuel Republican lies about a coup or power grab.
President Biden will be fine he wont be campaigning and will likely cut back on public events and workload.
