"Yesterday’s Oversight Committee hearing identified two urgent priorities in the wake of the assassination attempt against former President Donald Trump and the accompanying mass shooting. The first was the need for Director Cheatle to step down and give new leadership at the Secret Service the opportunity to swiftly address this crisis, rebuild the trust of Congress and the American people, and guarantee security to protectees. We accomplished that today.

"The other urgent need was to ban assault weapons to protect the rest of us from mass shootings like the one that took place in Butler. As I made clear during yesterday’s hearing, a weapon that can be used to commit a mass shooting at an event under the full protection of the Secret Service and state and local police is a danger to schoolchildren, Walmart shoppers and congregants in church, synagogue and mosque services. As a weapon of war, the AR-15 has no legitimate place in our society. Congress must act now."

16. He would be 70 in 2032, so not too likely. Harris will likely be the last Dem Boomer POTUS. 40 straight years (with a 4

year term for the even older Biden wedged in) of Boomer presidents (both parties) is a more than long enough POTUS run for any one Gen (1992-2032). Power simply has to be eventually ceded to the younger Gens, and it will be.

Imagine telling a 1966 born Gen Xer that they would likely not see a POTUS who was younger than the Boomer gen until they were 66 years old, perhaps into their 70s if they have to wait until 2036. It is not healthy, in terms of the overall body politic, to have one generation hold the highest political power slot for so long.

Was staged.

The shooter and the other victims died in vane.
DOJ needs to investigate this and look at his ear.

13. I'd agree with you if the shooter had been a reliable sharpshooter

But he wasn't, he was a kid. And even though he had some training with the gun, he was somebody who made a lot of mistakes.

A real military sharpshooter could be trusted to "almost" get Chump, but miss him instead. This kid was just a screwup. If he'd been setup by Putin's people, they probably would have put fake bullets into the gun, am I right? But the kid's gun had real ammo that he purchased himself, and innocent people were injured in the shooting.

So with all that in mind, it's really just luck that Chump didn't get hit. How would Putin's people have known that the Secret Service guys would do such a lame job that day?

Suspicious...the doctors not allow to talk to the media. If a bullet would have brushed his ear, he would have lost that ear or would have pierced his ear. No stitches were required, really? I actually believe the bullet hit the teleprompter and the material flew and hit his ear. I guess we'll eventually find out. Everything maga is a lie, I don't believe a damn thing they say.
