US public rapidly sours on Project 2025 as awareness grows

New polling out on Tuesday suggests that Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump's best hope for Project 2025, the far-right policy agenda that at least 140 of his former administration officials helped craft, was that most Americans would remain unfamiliar with it. Over the past month, though, a growing number of voters have learned more about the 900-page plan spearheaded by the right-wing Heritage Foundation—and public opinion of the agenda has plummeted as it's become more widely known.

Progressive polling firm Navigator Research found in a survey conducted between July 11-14 that 54% of Americans were familiar with Project 2025, which calls for the weakening and eradication of federal agencies and the consolidation of power with the president, the elimination of job protections of thousands of federal employees, and the withdrawal of mifepristone—a pill used in a majority of abortions in the U.S.—from the market. That's an increase of 25 percentage points from Navigator's poll on Project 2025 just one month ago, said the firm. Just 11% of people polled viewed the agenda favorably, while 43% had unfavorable views—a 24-point increase since June.

Project 2025 appears to especially be galvanizing Democratic voters, 71% of whom said they were aware of the document. Nearly two-thirds of Democrats said they had unfavorable views of Project 2025, and 62% said their opinion was "very unfavorable."

Nearly two-thirds of independent voters said they still didn't know enough about the project to have an opinion, but 28% of independent respondents said they had an unfavorable view of the agenda.

Shooting themselves in the foot because they assume a majority of Americans share their fetid, treasonous beliefs. Just like their racist, sexist attacks on Kamala starting one minute after Joe ended his candidacy. Keep it up and bring it on, you subhuman creeps.

The powers behind Trump must have fallen for their own fairy tales and totally isolated themselves from reality. Kinda weird such brilliant business men and political schemers have fallen for their own propaganda that magas are anywhere close to a majority of American voters.

There is danger in only listening to their own little clique of self-reassuring twits in the dark halls they frequent. Maybe the Think Tanks, like the weatherman, really need some windows.

Republicans don't realize they gave democrats the way to win. And win with Kamala, because they are too stupid to see the writing on the wall that they went Trump and vance.

If we hit November and the percentage of American voters who say they don't know what Project 2025 is all about, we have failed...we have a little over 100 days to go...its time to SPRINT and not stop until this race is won, those trolls are sent back under the bridges they crawled out from and we can get on with continuing to repair the frayed American Dream and fix our SCOTUS situation as well.

If you're inclined to read just how fucked up a country this would be should the White Christian Nationalists (fascists) get their way;

https://www.documentcloud.org/documents/24088042-project-2025s-mandate-for-leadership-the-conservative-promise

My take after reading a few selected parts?

This is all about making sure the capitalists and the moneyed owners of this country get what they want, and that is a badly educated, conservative voting, WHITE Christian (and ONLY Christian) majority of people who will have no reproductive rights, no right to collectively bargain at the workplace and be forced to have their children educated in such a way as to keep them dumb, compliant and voting conservative forever. No more brown people, either. They want to deploy the US Army along the US/Mexico border and shoot immigrants trying to enter the US because fuck those people that are fleeing the dismal conditions we created in their home countries to begin with.

That's it. They are sick and tired of all this equality and liberal advancing for the greater good bullshit, and want to go back to the days when the likes of the Pinkertons could be called in to bust heads when those pesky factory workers asked for a bit more pay and better conditions because 5 yachts and 3 private jets per millionaire isn't enough, god dammit. They want no regulations because fuck you and your need for clean water and air, they want no reproductive freedoms because fuck all you women that enjoy sex for pleasure. If you get pregnant, TOUGH! You absolutely have to give birth (even if a relative or some fucking criminal rapes you) and then just fucking deal with it, because there won't be any help for you and your child once it is born if you need it.

They don't want any of that communist Obamacare bullshit, either. If you get sick, fuck you. Die if you can't afford to go to the hospital, just make sure your wife is pregnant. You should have gotten a better job, you lazy, stupid plebe.

In short, a conservative oligarchs wet dream of how a society should be set up so they can get more for them and NONE for you.

Fuck you, that's why.

Honestly, all those decades the Koch boys and other plutocrats poured money into those fascist hothouses full of people incapable of doing useful work shut away to try to outdo each other in sheer craziness have finally paid off in a roadmap that leads directly to hell on earth.

One hopes this experiment in human isolation run amok will get these places shut down quickly. Obviously, the return on investment has not been as spectacular as would be citizens of Galt's Gulch had expected 40 years ago.

Actually, he does not want to 'know' anything about project 2025 which is so extreme it scares many, many Americans.

Does not want to discuss.
