In case you were thinking it might be safe to watch CNN again

I switched briefly to them a few seconds ago. There was a panel with Scott Jennings(horrible) and another rightwing loon named Johah Goldberg. The only non rightwinger was Karen Finney.

In the short few seconds that I watched, all three men interrupted Finney. That includes Tapper the host. It was literally three on one. The topic was immigration and how that is a bad issue for Harris. All three of the males were so invested in getting that across that they would not let the only female, or person of color, speak.

The only reason I tried was because Aaron Rupar said earlier that CNN liked Kamala's speech. But the part I saw was very very bad.

CNN is dead to me. I'm starting to peek at MSNBC in the evening, but only until they tick me off, then I turn off all news.

Immigration is a millstone around anybody’s neck that has to handle it. It is a tough one to handle because the republicans shut every avenue down.

but that is no excuse for stacking the panel with interrupting male rightwingers who won't let the lone Dem speak. To add insult to injury, Tapper joined in.

She was named as one of the "key players" in the 1998 impeachment of President Clinton, as it was she who controversially advised Monica Lewinsky's confidante Linda Tripp to tape Lewinsky's phone calls about their affair. The 20-hour recording became crucial to the Starr investigation. She was the mother of Jonah Goldberg, a conservative political commentator, and Joshua Goldberg, a Republican nominee for the New York City Council.

TFG didn’t solve it, Harris didn’t solve it, no one person can solve that problem. That’s why we need a bill.

...but I've tuned in to MSNBC several times since Biden stepped back and the tone is now much better.

Tuned in to FOX the other day, after Hannity's circus, and they went into the Gutfeld! bullshit. Gutfeld told several jokes about Kamala, all of them ugly, racist, sexist, and just plain mean. While he was delivering them, he had this scowl on his face the whole time. The jokes got only a couple of chuckles from the 4 rightwing guests. Horrible, mean TV.

from every angle, even an arm of our progressives pulled out the misogyny for their candidate. So, it is well and alive. But only four months and maybe... just maybe, enough people will recognize and see and do something about it. Like get mad and vote instead of allowing themselves to be swayed.

One of the depressing things I remember about 2016 was the lack of pushback I heard even from Dems about the sexist coverage of Hillary. So, lessons learned I hope.
