Islam is just the latest boogieman. We are a nation that apparently cannot survive unless we have an enemy and a war to fight. When we can't find a big one like Communism or Terrorism we just find some small dictator like Saddam and use him as the boogieman.

We are a War Mongering nation. We spend 60% of our tax revenue on the military, more then the next 25 countries put together. And 24 of those countries are our allies.

We love killing. Helping people though? Naw they can lift themselves up by their bootstraps.

but, we should be as some things in the Muslim world (i.e. radical fundamentalism bought and paid for by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) are anti-humanist and profoundly anti-Western. Only our government ignores the threat from the KSA precisely because of the oil.

At the same time, many of the idiots in our country are scared of precisely the wrong things (i.e. Islam itself).
