Why Jeb Bush will be the Republican nominee in 2016?

Because every Republican ticket that has won since 1952 (60 years) has had a Nixon or a Bush on the ticket. They believe in passing the throne down to the "family". And there are no more Nixons around...

The name "Bush" is anathema after W's maladministration. I don't know that Pumpkin-Head Jeb will be able to overcome the taint of his big brother in only four more years.

Let's be awesome activists until August 2016. We need to just focus on the next four years solidifying anything and everything we can progressive. I.E. Making Obamacare like Bush's Tax Cuts for the Rich . . . forever and always the law of the land. And bringing our troops home.

And RUSHING to get some infrastructure improvements done. If we don't do it now and focus on 2016 - the Republicans will win and we'll continue to crumble.

I haven't heard a word about his private life in decades. Bush boys are not clean boys and the family is cheap so who suicided or disappeared?

Bill protected Poppy Bush so much over the last 20 years that no way will a Bush dare take on the Clintons as rivals.

I mean, did we learn NOTHING from 2000-2008?

I just don't think Jeb has the over-the-top hypnotic charisma or the bullshitting ability his brother did. I say "over-the-top hypnotic charisma" because I can't really come up with a more plausible explanation as to how The Failure Fuhrer managed to get enough Americans to hop on his bandwagon for the PTB to steal two elections without using the phrase "Some Americans are just phenomenally stupid".

Look at how far to the right the candidates had to go to get the nomination. If it's the same people voting in the primary, no way. Obama won moderates by about 60%. For someone like Jeb to win, bunches of them would have to register as Republicans and drown out the crazies. He might be running in the general in 2016, but I don't think it will be as a Republican, Possibly as libertarian or third party.
