Calling all SC democrats:

Calling all South Carolinians; go vote for Herman Cain. We have a great opertunity to help Steven Colbert hold up a mirror to the world and show the obsurdity of our election process. SC has an open primary and all can vote. Remember how the right used to recommend that repugs screw up our primaries? Let's get this done😄

Never thought I'd be cheering for that guy but at least he has a sense of humor about all of this. Good on him for that.

Stewart & Colbert have thrown a big monkey wrench into the Repugs primary in SC with the Super Pac funding! As so astutely reported by GOP Media pundits "They are making a mockery of the election" I say they are showing what our elections have become one great big Mockery of our voting system!

I will not vote in the GOP primary and open myself up to incessant robocalls, and be deluged with mailed propaganda. And, I don't care if it helps hold a mirror up to the absurd election process. I just cannot bring myself to cast a vote for that turd.

Plus to my understanding, if you want to participate in state Democratic functions officially (which I might) you have to pledge that you didn't vote in Republican Primaries. (or some said shit like that)

It's in our interest that the nasty intraparty fight go on as long as possible. Achieving that means fighting the Romney steamroller. Gingrich has the best chance of beating Romney today.

I mean, it's hold-your-nose country either way, so you might as well try to stick it to Mitt.
