Just like I said about the NRA.

They are whipping up hysterics about non-existent "conspiracies" to grab guns.

National Rifle Association executive vice president and columnist Wayne LaPierre has unveiled a new conspiracy theory, alleging that NBC sportscaster Bob Costas' discussion of the murder-suicide involving NFL player Jovan Belcher was part of a plan by "media conglomerates" to ban guns.

the NRA is like the Berlin wall, in the process of coming down.

or perhaps like the Knights who say Ni.

they are sweating bullets, but they won't admit it.

won't be quick or easy, but it is happening.

all that is needed is a complete reframing.

they never though had a million dollar suit providing soundbytes

just like James Baker kept saying there was a count, and a recount, and people used that mantra ad nauseum
except for the fact that the only recount that mattered was stopped by the US Supreme Court
12/12/2000

had the dems had a better spokesperson back then, who outspent and outshouted BAker, the perception would have gone the other way

Now the NRA has the great Equalizer

and like Snow White sang the people are singing "Some day my Prince will come"
well the prince known as mayor mike has arrived.

many people used to smoke. they don't know.
and they didn't even need to ban cigarettes.

it's like a flu shot.
not everybody needs to get it
but if enough get it, it puts a ring around the flu and gives them nowhere to hold

are major shareholders of the investment firm that has bought most arms manufacturers over the last few years. I can't remember the name but it is easy to find.
The only reason they defend the 2nd amendment is to sell arms and they have no moral thoughts on the consequences.

They believed that the media would launch a campaign to confiscate all guns after one of America's frequent mass murders.

I dropped the NRA's name when I talked to the phone contact at my gop congressman's office when I phoned in my opposition. I thought it would help since the GOP and NRA are so tight.
