increase in taxes for those earning individuals earning over $250,000.
The Dems what to see the Bush tax rates now at 35% resort back to the Clinton tax rates of 39.6%, an increase of 4.6 points.
So for every dollar over $250,000, these victims that the GOP is protecting would pay 4.6 cents more.
The GOP is standing tough to protect the Romney's, Sheldon Adelson, Kock Brothers, The Walton (Walmart) and DeVos families (Amway), and millionaire Wall Street executives at Goldman Sach, JPMorgan, Bank of America and on and on and to protect themselves from their pledge to Grover Norquist.
Adelson, who spent $140 million to fund Romney so that if Romney won, Sheldon might get a "Get Out of Jail" card. And the Koch Brothers who want Right to Work States, elimination of all regulations on their mining and timber businesses as well as lower taxes for their billions in assets.
What the Dems need to do is to educate people about the abuse of power by George Bush. Since the conversation is all about the "Bush" Tax cuts, this is only reasonable. That abuse is simple. He and the neo-cons in his administration initiated two wars that were not paid for as were all earlier wars since 1916. No, instead they put it on the backs of future generations of the middle class to fund these wars, as well as putting a higher burden on unfunded Medicare with the Tom Delay (convicted felon) Medicare Prescription Part D plan.
Bush promoted his tax cuts as necessary to "generate jobs". I wonder how many jobs Bush generated with his tax cut savings.
Here is a summary of maximum Individual tax rates during US participation in war:
o WW I: 1916-1918: 73%
o WWII: 1941-1945: 94%
o Korean War: 1950-1953: 93%
o Viet Nam War: 1953-1075: 70%
o Gulf War: 1990-1991: 38%
o Afghanistan: 2001-Present: 35%
o Iraq Invasion: 2003-2011: 35%
o War on Terror: 2001-Present: 35%
The GOP has a long history of tax the middle class, reduce the taxes on the 1%, spend billions on war and screw seniors, the poor, vulnerable, unemployed, uneducated, disabled, women, teachers, minorities and basically the 99%.
So what's the big deal Boehner? Do the right thing as Speaker of MY HOUSE. Get enough Repubs behind you and be the first in the
GOP line to sign that Discharge Petition and get on with the business of America, not the business of the Tea Party, or the business of Grover Norquist, or the business of the 1% lobbyists.
How dare the GOP now righteously demand a dollar for dollar reduction in funded entitlements.

million dollar donations for campaigns but taxes no deal.
