I just went over to the Romney Facebook page, where the real dead-enders gather, to get a dig in.
"PPP says 49% of Republicans believe Acorn stole the election for Obama. Problem is that Acorn no longer exists. You people are so funny. It's like the special classroom in the school, and you are special."
I suppose I'm a bad human being, but I can't help myself.
On edit: I've been rightly corrected on two fronts. One, the figure is 49%. And I intend no disrespect to Special Education students. Half of the 7th grade might be a better analogy. Or perhaps there really is no analogy for that kind of willful ignorance.

(4,359 posts)I thought I was sort of joking--sorry if it didn't read that way.

(53,035 posts)I did think of that after I posted it on Facebook. But I didn't know how else to phrase it. I used to work in Special Education and know there are some really great students there. Willful ignorance really is true stupidity. A disability is not.

(53,035 posts)They have reformed into a different group. And everyone knows ACORN is a terrorist organization. This straight from RMoney's Facebook page. Of course they can't name Acorn's new incarnation or provide evidence of supposed terrorism, but they know it's true.
