When the oil companies can whatever they want to, they will always raise prices. Without exception.

but here in Northwest Washington as well. And, we have 3 refineries going full steam in the local area. More than 100 tank cars per day and additional spur tracks for loading have been laid at the nearby refinery. I wish I knew where that fuel went once it left here. I think there is a good chance it goes to tankers docked in the Port of Seattle bound for China but that is speculation on my part.

is how relatively high NJ prices are for gasoline. Just got back from the Pacific NW on Sunday, and prices there are actually cheaper than what I can find near my job. NJ used to be famous for cheap gas, I guess there's still some inflation fallout from Hurricane Sandy still working its way out of the market.
