Dear Nebraska:

Tim Walz was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. Are his values Nebraska's values? Take a good look and vote for your fellow Nebraskan...

"Walz was born in West Point, Nebraska. He joined the Army National Guard and worked a blue-collar manufacturing job after high school. He later graduated with a teaching degree from Chadron State College in Nebraska before moving to Minnesota in 1996." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tim_Walz

I was born in MN but lived in NE for part of my youth. In some ways they are different planets, but being nice and reasonable is certainly part of both states' personalities, in my mind. He definitely seems to have absorbed the Minnesota identity, maybe because of his wife being a native? In any case, the Nebraska connection cannot hurt him.
