he was the gay student who came out to Tim Walz and his wife at his school and they together formed the GSA at Jacob's high school. I am so proud of him and also of the Walz family!!!! Sorry, I just had to brag.

(5,564 posts)The top six were all good, but he was the best and seems to be a great speaker. He coined the idea that Trump and his followers are weird and how he is a creepy guy you'd try to get moved away from at a restaurant.

(10,927 posts)I made a new op (since yours won't be up much longer) and posted it here and linked to your op. :

It's such a good segment that I thought it should be up another 24 hours. The OP just needs a few kicks and recs.

(53,308 posts)first and to be shallow, loved his outfit. He looked great.
Second, and much more importantly, he was very brave to have done that back then and he killed it now. The fact is I am way closer in age to Walz than I am to your nephew and frankly couldn't imagine coming out in high school. Now many of my students do exactly that. People like your nephew and Walz and I think to some extent me are why. You have every right to be proud.
