(16,423 posts)When I got angry or extremely agitated, the tears started flowing, which made me ashamed and even more nervous. There was no psychological connection to this: I felt perfectly normal. It was a bodily reaction that resulted in a loss of control over my tear-ducts.
Over the years, the symptoms got weaker as my personality matured and as I gained more leverage over my emotions. They stabilized at an age of approximately twenty. Nowadays I merely get an itchy sensation at my lower eye-lids in these situations.
My advise to Boehner would be to relax more and learn to avoid/suppress these levels of agitation. Meditation, yoga... something like that.

(12,647 posts)During his 60 Minutes interview, when he said he couldn't visit schools anymore and see the children's faces, because he thought they should have the same opportunities in life that he had. The way he broke down and cried at that moment indicates he knows how he and his minions have thoroughly destroyed a bright future for our children.

(2,952 posts)Gawd as my witness I was reading the OP and the commercial for the 52 y/o neurologist who's in better shape than his 20something sons came on pedaling some testosterone booster....I had no other choice...it was a sign!
