republicans tell the worlds' disabled to go fuck themselves....that's the republican party

Dole Appears, but G.O.P. Rejects a Disabilities Treaty

WASHINGTON — Former Senator Bob Dole of Kansas sat slightly slumped in his wheelchair on the Senate floor on Tuesday, staring intently as Senator John Kerry gave his most impassioned speech all year, in defense of a United Nations treaty that would ban discrimination against people with disabilities.

Senators from both parties went to greet Mr. Dole, leaning in to hear his wispy reply, as he sat in support of the treaty, which would require that people with disabilities have the same general rights as those without disabilities. Several members took the unusual step of voting aye while seated at their desks, out of respect for Mr. Dole, 89, a Republican who was the majority leader.

Then, after Mr. Dole’s wife, Elizabeth, rolled him off the floor, Republicans quietly voted down the treaty that the ailing Mr. Dole, recently released from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, so longed to see passed.

A majority of Republicans who voted against the treaty, which was modeled on the Americans With Disabilities Act, said they feared that it would infringe on American sovereignty.

Because that's exactly what they want to tell our own disabled...and if they should ever come into complete control, it's exactly what they'll do...

The first chance they get the Republicans will launch attacks on all laws protecting the disabled, the elderly, the poor, and will repeal hate laws that protect anyone.

These are evil fucks and the people who keep voting for them are even more evil then the ass hats they put into office...

“It is a sad day when we cannot pass a treaty that simply brings the world up to the American standard for protecting people with disabilities because the Republican Party is in thrall to extremists and ideologues,” he said in a statement.

...once again makes the rushpublicans look like the heartless party. But on the other side of the sandbox the tin foil hatters and John Birchers are all convinced this was some kind of plan to let the UN take over the U.S. The tin foil was near boil...the decades of xenophobia showed itself on the Senate floor. Shameful but that's modus operandi when your party has totally detached from reality...

You see, despite the fact that this is essentially just our ADA, if we signed this treaty it would mean we're handing over our sovereignty to the UN. Soon the UN would completely control our government.

There are some really, really stupid people out there.

From the R.I.P.- Ridiculously Ignorant Party. They are the Party of HATE and non-believers of Science and Math. They are extremely STUPID!!!!!! They had members of the Senate crying. Republicans are not WORTH Tears. They are the poster children to VOTE for the opposing team. Be glad when they shrink into oblivion.
