What pisses me off most is Vance shittng on the service of US Vets. While I have never served in the military, I am the child of a deceased war casualty military veteran. My father served 26 years before he couldn't any longer. In those 26 years, he fought in Germany, did spy work in the od East Germany, served and was injured in Korea and served and was shot in Vietnam to come stateside and die from those injuries a week before Christmas when I was 7 years old. So Mr. Vance, my question is this: where in the fuck, in your conceited, selfish attitude do you get off on pissing on those who have served in the military. I for one am thankful for ALL those who have served, whether in combat or not and I grieve for the loss of families of those who have put themselves in harm's way!! So in summary, JD Vance, go fuck yourself and the couch you love!

When you say that, you have no idea whatsoever if the person is deserving of it. I'm a vet, and i can assure you that not every service member was worthy of the uniform. Every veteran will tell you that they've worked with just as many idiots and toxic personalities as they ever did in civilian life.

They're people, like anyone else. Some of them have jobs where they get shot at, and those people rate a bit higher, but, in most cases during the modern era, it's still only a job where the difference from what civilians do would be the weird rules we had to follow.

I've worked elsewhere in the federal government, and, honestly, I was prouder of that work, and the job was far more demanding, than what I did for the military. But I don't get any thanks at all for the fed job, other than a cheap certificate after retiring from it.

In my case I was at the Bomb Dump on a deployment with my unit MALS-42 700 Div. (Ordnance) doing aviation ordnance operations with MALS-11's 700 Div. Last time I checked, paper pusher Cpl. Vance wasn't working near several hundred tons of explosives. May have run into that asshole while I was at the PX. So yeah, fuck him!

One is eligible for promotion to E-5 after 3 years of service. Granted, the promotion is competitive and must be earned. So, did he get promoted then busted or was he just an underachiever? Somebody needs to inquire about that. I know that I made E-5 after 3 years of service.
