He was originally in the RFK camp, but now is all in for Harris/Walz.
He said he wants to see a woman President and a woman Commander-in-Chief and "we have one in her."

(6,598 posts)He didn't agree with him but understood why he did what he did. Hogan was pulling in a massive amount of money and a Union would stifle that. And more or less inferred that if it was him pulling in that money, he might have done the same thing. It was just the nature of the business at the time. Doesn't make it right, but, different time, different values, etc. Plus, this was the first time they were drawing that kind of money with the contracts they had. Under the old territory system, you could be drawing one day and barely scraping by the next.
Ventura's politics are all over the place. On one hand they line up with progressive values and then the other, they line up with conservative values and then, bat shit crazy. It's nice to have his endorsement, however, just realize he could go a different direction for something else.

(26,713 posts)wrestlers did hate Hogan. Then again he was the biggest thing in the 80s, 90s.. Even part of the 2000s. So, who knows.
Jesse is kinda crazy when it comes to certain things. But I'll give him that at least he's not a virulent, piece of shit racist like Terry. Who literally is on video saying in the most specific manner how much of a racist he is. To then try to pull the ol' "that's not who I am...." bit.

(6,598 posts)He also purposely worked hard to keep some wrestlers on the lower card and keep his name on top. No surprise why some wrestlers couldn't stand him.
When Dwayne "The Rock" found out he was going over the Undertaker, he went straight to him and asked, "Mark, are you OK with this?". His response, "Of course Dwayne, its your time". One of the reasons he was the respected locker room leader.

(1,683 posts)TV show a decade ago that explored conspiracy theories. He seemed to explore legitimate conspiracy theories as well as crackpot theories. Maybe that is why he first supported Bob the bear bearer. It seems some people are interested in conspiracy theories not because they want to find out the truth, but because they just don't want to believe what "the powers that be" are saying. More of a rejection of authority than a search for truth. And just as unreasonable as people who think that our oiligarchs never conspire behind closed doors to run things in their favor.
