Boehner's worse nightmare (and how we can make it happen)

John Boehner's worse nightmare. The phones, faxes and e-mails of Republican representatives being flooded with contacts from voters in their Districts demanding that the Representatives sign the discharge petition filed by Nancy Pelosi.

You can make it happen by contacting your Representative and demanding that he or she sign the discharge petition (if he or she has not already done so). Then you should send an an e-mail to everyone in your address book asking them to contact their Representative as well. And you should also post it on your Facebook page, send tweets, and use other social media to get the word out.

To find out if your Representative has signed the discharge petition

Here is a sample message you can send others that I have drafted. Please note you will need to fill in your representative's contact information which you can locate by

http://www.house.gov/...

President Obama has asked Congress to extend the Bush tax cuts on the first $250,000 of income for all Americans. The Senate has already passed this legislation, however, in the House of Representatives Speaker John Boehner is refusing to bring this bill to a vote unless the Democrats also agree to extend the Bush tax cuts on income over $250,000 a year. In other words, he is holding the middle class tax hostage unless the Democrats agree to extend the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy.
Nancy Pelosi is trying to force a vote on this legislation over the objection of John Boehner. To do so, she will need 218 members of Congress to sign a discharge petition she filed on December 4, 2012. As of right now, Congressman [name of your congressman] (my Representative) has not signed the discharge petition. Will you please contact [him or her] and ask [him or her] to sign the discharge petition. [His or her] contact information is as follows:

[Put address, phone number, e-mail and fax number here]

The American people deserve an up or down vote by the House of Representatives on the tax cut for the middle class.

If you live in a different district, you can locate the contact information for your member of congress by clicking on this link

Thank you.

P.S. Please feel free to forward this e-mail to anyone you believe may be interested.

Lets overload the switchboards and flood them with e-mails. Let them know that the American people are watching.

I forgot to save or print it, but the basic idea was:
The GOP has not only run itself into the gutter, it is now running it into the drain. Go along with Obama on the tax issue, and I think he will comprimise on other issues. As 'leader', you represent all of America. Your 'oath of office' should be just that.
But to take an oath to NOT EVER RAISE TAXES ON THE RICH that you made to Grover, to me, is nearly an act of treason.
If you don't take care, the next election will only give the GOP 2% of the vote (less the women, blacks, gays, hispanics, maybe some more), so that will be the end of the GOP as you have ever known it.
It is time for you to grow a pair of brass ones!

Very good!

Our three Democratic representatives have done their jobs.

Lamborn, Tipton, Gardner and Coffmann can go FOAD.
