Michael Savage returned to WABC (770 AM) Monday night and immediately expressed grave concern for the health of talk radio.
Conservative talk radio, Savage said, has become boring because hosts spend whole shows recycling the same criticisms of President Obama.
You keep repeating, Obamas a socialist, Obamas a communist, said Savage. Its all true. But it becomes like a dirge. People tune out.
Savage sounded this warning Sunday night to conservative talk show host Aaron Klein on WABC, then explained it further on his own show Monday.

In fact, Savage signed a new contract with WABC parent company Cumulus Media Networks in late October after winning out of his current contract with Talk Radio Network.
I just heard Thom Hartmann mention Savage's position during Hartmann's interview with Mike Papantonio.
In fact, Savage often discusses non political topics on his show such as food, cinema, medicine, and family, but he is right about most right wing radio getting B-O-R-I-N-G. In fact, his latest book is Train Tracks: Family Stories for the Holidays, and Savage has said he won't write any more political books after his duo of anti-Obama books, Trickle Up Poverty and Trickle Down Tyranny.

(506 posts)The conservative talk radio format is overdone and is now a tune out. Reasonable people can't stand that crap. Corporate radio has been losing $$$ and audience. Dial up and down the dial and you hear the same stuff.
