January 8, 2013 The Wheel of Time

continues to spin as it will and The Pattern weaves as it will.

I've been reading the series for 23 years. It is both breathtaking, and frightening to see how A Memory of Light plays out.

It has so far held up to my expectation, except for the Moiraine/Thom situation, but Egwene has been the Amyrlin Seat as well as anyone could.

Anyone else salivating for Robert Jordan's final (written by Brandon Sanderson, of course)?

By how Moiraine was written. I would expect Mat to rescue her, but I would ultimately expect her to end up in the arms of Siuan Sanche. She has always loved her, and it was stupidity to weave in a story like Siuan loving Gabriel. Just dumb, and an insult to readers.
